Wait’s Mill 1865-1957

Waitsburg traces its roots back to 1865, when pioneer Sylvester Wait opened a flour mill on Coppei Creek.

Waits Mill was in the midst of a restoration project when a fire destroyed the mill on September 5, 2009

A Waits Mill Kiosk has been installed at the original location of Wait’s Mill just over the Main Street Bridge at the end of Mill Race Park.
